
Methamphetamine, ammunition and cash, were recovered by Samoa Police at a family home at Puipa’a village on Tuesday.
Samoa Observer reports Police Commissioner Auapa’au Logoitino Filipo confirmed 11 “people of interest” were detained by police, but did not say if they had been charged.
Police, some armed, in ten police vehicles were involved in the raid of the home next to a supermarket.
Several men in handcuffs were seen being escorted from the home, and women and children could also be seen continually walking in and out of the home.
Local residents told the newspaper the home has been the scene of much goings on with many vehicles frequenting it at all hours for some time.
