lbj-hospital-3

The LBJ Hospital is urging the public to make use of its Urgent Care Clinic which is free.

The purpose of the Urgent Care Clinic is to see all patients that are NOT emergency cases. These include flu-like symptoms, medication refills, body aches, fever for one day, cough for a few days, rash to the body, gout pain, etc.

This will free up the Emergency Department so that the ER physicians can attend to emergency or life threatening cases.

Located in the Medical Clinic, the clinic is open on weekdays from 4PM to 10PM, and on weekends from 12PM to 6PM. The clinic is closed on holidays.

Services available at the Urgent Care Clinic include nebulizer treatment and a physician consultation

Services not available at the Urgent Care Clinic are IV fluids, IV medications, wound repair and suturing.

Urgent Care clinic service is FREE unless you get referred back to the ER for further tests and IV treatment, then you will have to pay the ER registration fee of $20.
