Aveina was listed as receiving $500,000. A representative of the company contacted us saying that they never received this money. We were directed to the Director of the ASEDA Office, Blanche Barber, who was involved in compiling the report.
Barber sent an email, last week, saying that the correct name is AVEIA not Aveina, and apologized to the Aveina company for the misspelling.
Barber said that a correction will be made in the COVID Task Force report, which will be republished.
