Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga wants a centralized ASG calendar of events for 2023.
He has given the task of designing such a calendar to the Planning and Operations Division (POD) and Communication Division (GOVNET COMMS) of the Governor’s Office.
This initiative will assist the Governor’s Office in synchronizing all major events, communication, and training ASG-wide.
All directors are asked to assign a representative to serve as a point of contact and a communication specialist for their respective calendars and to communicate their department’s upcoming events.
The two divisions, POD and GOVNET COMMS, will host a Calendar and Communications training on December 20, at the Veterans (VA) Office in Tafuna.
South Seas Broadcasting Inc. is exploring such a calendar of events for the territory, so as to avoid several major events taking place at the same time.
