
It was an evening of music, dance, and conversation.
Director Taimalelagi Minnie Tuia and the American Samoa Visitors Bureau, hosted a function at DDW last night which featured Dr. Aaron Sala, who will be in charge of the next Pacific Arts Festival to be held in Honolulu in 2024.
Guests were treated to Dr. Sala’s wide repertoire of Hawaiian, Spanish, classical and Samoan songs with his wife Makanani performing the hula to some.
Among the guests was Dr. Sala’s father, Judge Mamea Sala, and his wife, Amy.
The invitees included business owners, ASG officials and the LDS medical personnel volunteering at the LBJ Hospital.
Miss American Samoa Kauhani Fuimaono and Miss Moso’oi 2022 Nellie Tuigamala were also present.
ASVB Director Taimalelagi said that as members of the Pacific family, we embrace the culture and art of our neighbors.
