Talofa Airways to resume service next Monday

Travelers on the inter-Samoa route will soon have a second choice in air service.

Talofa Airways has confirmed that it will begin flights between Samoa and American Samoa, next Monday.

The privately owned airline suspended flights, early this year, after the community spread of COVID-19.

President Toleafoa Jeffrey Hunter said, resuming service is like starting a new airline: “setting up, hiring workers, training, the works.”

Residents of both Samoas have been asking when Talofa Airways will be back in service, as current seat capacity on Samoa Airways hasn’t met demands.

Talofa Airways will begin accepting bookings at it office at the Tafuna Airport tomorrow and also online at talofaairways.com.

Toleafoa says, flights to Tonga will resume later.
