A call went out over the weekend for breast milk for a baby who was born at LBJ Hospital at 34 weeks. Sadly, his mother died while giving birth to Baby John Malubay.

Cristina Malubay was only 33.

She was rushed to the hospital for an emergency C-section due to a Placenta Previa.

Baby John is currently at the LBJ NICU and is expected to be there for another month.

He needs breast milk to help with his development. Family and friends of the Malubay family are asking breastfeeding moms to, please, donate breast milk for Baby John Malubay at the LBJ Hospital.

A GoFundMe account has also been set up to help Mr. Malubay take care of their 6 children, to pay funeral expenses, as well as hospital bills for his wife and son. His late wife was the main bread earner of their family.

“Any monetary donation to help the Malubay family will be appreciated beyond measure and even if you can’t donate, please remember the Malubay family in your prayers.”

To donate, go to GoFundMe and search under Baby John Malubay and Mom Cristina Malubay.
