The new agency combines the Fire and Marine Patrol Division, currently under the Department of Public Safety and the EMS, under the LBJ Hospital.

Named as Acting Director of the American Samoa Corrections Division is long time deputy warden of the Territorial Correctional Facility, Leone Faiai.

The Corrections Agency will oversee the Territorial Correctional Facility and the Juvenile Detention Center, previously under the Department of Public Safety.
