
A new emergency declaration for COVID-19 which goes into effect tomorrow sees all ASG employees returning to work full time and the reopening of day care centers, bingos, movie theaters, gyms, fitness centers, barbers and salons.
Effective June 1st, all ASG offices shall resume normal operations but with conditions such as proof of full vaccinations, wearing of masks at all times, and social distancing, which means limiting occupancy to 50% of the maximum capacity of indoor spaces.
There’s no more list of prohibited businesses.
The declaration states:
Bars and Nightclubs; Childcare Facilities, Hair Salons, Barbershops, Nail Salons, and other related Services are places where close contact may occur and compliance is difficult to maintain. They may open provided that the following conditions are met:
(1) All customers who are five years old or older must show evidence of full vaccination;
(2) All employees of the business must show evidence of full vaccination;
(3) Mask use is required at all times except while eating or drinking;
(4) Social distancing is required by:
(A) Limiting access to their facilities to prevent overcrowding and
(B) Providing adequate spacing to keep individuals or family groups at least 6 feet apart.
Restaurants no longer have to ask dine in customers to show proof of vaccination. But they must still ask this of their employees.
Seating capacity must be limited to 50% of maximum capacity of the restaurant.
Minimum Requirements for Bingo, Gyms and Fitness Centers, and Movie Theaters:
(1) All employees must show evidence of full vaccination;
(2) Mask use is mandated at all times
(3) Social distancing is required;
(4) Business owners may impose additional requirements including having patrons show proof of Vaccination.
The new closing hour for businesses is 10pm unless they are providing medical emergency services or have exceptions then they can remain opened beyond that hour.
The curfew hours are 11pm to 4:30am.
The new declaration is in effect for 30 days starting tomorrow and will end on June 27th.
