
There will be a special Medicaid charter flight to Honolulu on Monday, May 30th, to meet the needs for patient referrals and NuWest contractors at LBJ hospital.
The flight will have passengers on the Honolulu to Pago Pago departure and return flight.
The special charter is at the request of Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga.
The Medicaid Office said, the Governor’s Authorized Representative, Lt. Governor Talauega Eleasalo Ale, has confirmed the special charter.
It will help transport nearly 150 LBJ referral patients and the 25 NuWest medical contractors, who came to support the ASG COVID response at the LBJ Hospital.
The special charter will operate at the pre-COVID schedule, arriving into Pago at 9:25pm and departing for Honolulu at 11:25 that night.
First Class tickets are $1200 one way while economy tickets are $750 one way

- HA916/30MAY – 11:25PM LST – 5:55AM HST, Next day arrival
Please be mindful that this is a charter flight and Hawaiian Airlines tickets from other flights cannot be used for this charter.
All reservations must be done through the Medicaid Office. All passengers, inbound and outbound must register on TalofaPass and all entry requirements remain the same pursuant to the latest Emergency Declaration.
