The tsunami advisory for American Samoa has now been cancelled.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center cancelled the advisory based on information from the Pacific Tsunami Watch Center (PTWC)l.
This American Samoa Department of Homeland Security – TEMCO issued an announcement at 11:30am, Sunday, January 16,2022 saying that based on all available information from the Pacific Tsunami Watch Center (PTWC) the TSUNAMI ADVISORY is now CANCELLED for American Samoa.
