
More than 250 travelers arrived on the last commercial flight for Hawaiian Airlines this year last night.
The next commercial flight from Honolulu will be on January 6, 2022.
Upon arrival all of the travelers were taken to the quarantine sites at Tradewinds Hotel, Sadies by the Sea and Fatuoaiga Center to begin a 7-day quarantine period.

Anyone testing positive for coronavirus will be subject to a further 14-day quarantine.
A total of 268 passengers flew out on the return flight to Honolulu.
A medical charter is scheduled for next Monday, December 13 but it will arrive without any passengers. The return flight will take LBJ Hosspital medical referrals, VA referrals, returning US residents and approved non-medical travelers.
The first repatriation flight from Fiji is set to arrive on December 15th.
At Monday’s meeting of the Covid-19 Task Force, the Chairman, Lt Governor Talauega Eleasalo Ale urged that the group review and finalize the proposed flight schedule for April to July, before the end of 2021 so that travelers can plan travel arrangements in advance.
