Yesterday and today was the fishing tournament hosted by the Dept of Marine and Wildlife Resources which was launched from Faleasao Harbor as well as a Farm Fair at the Manu’a High School gym in Ta’u.
Ten boats registered for the two day tourney, one from Tutuila, “Double Trouble” and the rest were Manu’a boats.
Seas were quite rough the first day but calmed down Thursday, however it was a short fishing day as there were other events planned for the celebration.
Prizes were awarded by DMWR Director Archie Taotasi aSoliai and Miss American Samoa Epifania Petelo.
