
The Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa has declared this coming Sunday, June 6 as “Pray for Samoa Sunday.”
All member churches are asked to remember and pray for Samoa during their worship/communion service this Sunday.
A letter from the general secretary of the church, Rev Nafatali Falealii said the church leadership as well as the Committee of Elders has decided to set aside this Sunday as a day of prayer for the people and government of Samoa. He said, “The situation facing Samoa with its government is known to all. Let us unite in prayer for justice and peace for Samoa during this difficukt and trying times.”
The CCCAS is the territory’s largest church with branches here, and across Hawaii and the US mainland, New Zealand and Australia.
