DOH awarded $100,000 home visiting grant

Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata has welcomed a $100,000 health grant from the American Rescue Plan Act, passed by Congress this year and signed into law in March.

She says in a press release, “The discretionary grant to the American Samoa Department of Health for home visiting is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).”

“Thank you to Margaret Sesepasara, and everyone taking part in this effort,” said Congresswoman Amata. “Congratulations to Director Motusa Nua for these health care funds.”
