Residents made good use of the second drive through clinic for Covid 19 vaccinations held Saturday at the Tafuna Airport parking lot.
About 535 qfirst and second doses of the Moderna shot were given by doctors and nurses from the Dept of Health, LBJ Hospital and the VA clinic between 8am and noon.
Green buses also picked up adults and children from throughout the island and brought them to the venue. Deputy Director if Health Vesi Fautanu Jr urged the public to make use of the drive through clinic.

There will be no Covid-19 vaccinations today.
All DOH clinics will be closed.
DOH employees are having a Stand Down Training Day. This means, all clinics, including COVID-19 vaccination sites will be closed.
All Vaccine Clinics will open Wednesday, April 14 from 8am – 3pm, and Friday April 16, from 8am – 1pm.
