The Senate has completed confirmation hearings for all except three members of the Lemanu Talauega cabinet, that require Fono confirmation.
Salote Aoelua Fanene
The remaining directors are Commissioner of Public Safety Lefiti Atiulagi Pese, Director of Human and Social Service Muavaefa’atasi John Suisala and Director of Youth and Women Affairs Salote Aoelua Fanene.
Fanene is off island for medical treatment while Lefiti and Muavaefa’atasi arrived on the first repatriation flight and are in quarantine at the Tradewinds Hotel.
Today two more directors joined the list of those who have passed Fono confirmation, meaning they have been cleared by both the House and senate.
Malemo Tausaga
The House of Representatives approved Marine and Wildlife Resources Director Archie Taotasi Soliai, by a unanimous 18-0 vote and Parks and Recreation Director Kenneth Soala Tupua was confirmed by a vote of 16-2.

- Port Administration Director Christopher King
- Director of Commerce Petti Tagipo Matila
- Director of Administrative Services-Afalava Eliki Afalava
- Director of Agriculture-Solialealofiotagaloa Iosua Mutini
- Director of Marine and Wildlife Resources-Archie Taotasi Soliai
- Director of Parks and Recreation-Kenneth Soala Tupua.

Four directors approved by the Senate but are awaiting confirmation by the House are:

- Director of Human Resources-Lynn Pulou Alaimalo and
- Director of the Office for the Protection and Advocacy for the Disabled- Matautu Dr. Peter Tinitali
- Public Defender Michael White
