One of the newest community organizations in the territory is bringing smiles to 700 children this Christmas.
The Rotoract Club of Pago Pago which was established a few months ago draws its membership from young professional leaders. The organization has 44 members.
As one of their first community projects, Rotoract organized a toy drive for children in the Department of Human and Social Services shelters, the LBJ Hospital and disadvantaged families.
This morning Rotoract President Tiara Drabble, handed over the gifts to the DHSS Acting Director Josephine Lutali and staff of the Children and Family Services Division.
Also present were representatives of one of the major sponsors of the toy drive, BlueSky.
