What % of the Population Must Be Vaccinated?

Herd immunity is a concept used for vaccination in which a population can be protected from a certain virus if a threshold of vaccination is reached.

We heard the term often during the measles vaccination campaign.

With the territory on the verge of an inoculation effort for COVID-19 we wondered if herd immunity applies here as well. And if so what percentage of the population needs to be vaccinated.
