From Dec 1, masks required when visiting DOH facilities

The Departmet of Health has revised its protective neasures for coronavirus.

DOH says in its latest advisory, given the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the mainland and State of Hawaii effective December 1st, all those entering DOH facilities are required to wear masks.

This includes the Community Health Centers at Fagaalu, Tafuna and Leone.

DOH advises that you wear cloth or washable face masks whenever you leave home, practice safe physical distancing and good hand hygiene with soap and water or an alcohol based sanitizer.

DOH also recommends that each family get 3 washable face masks per person. Children under 2 are not recommended to wear face masks.

If you are coughing or have a fever please stay at home until they disappear.

The public is reminded that any information regarding confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the territory will be released by the Coronavirus Task Force and the Department of Health.
