
The Election Office and Department of Public Safety report an orderly and peaceful voting process across the territory. And the turn out at most of the polling places especially the large districts with more than 1,000 voters has been high according to Election Office officials and poll watchers.
Everything is going well said Deputy Election officer Fiti Tavai. The only issues form poling places is some poll watchers for candidates on the ballot who had no t been confirmed by the Election Office to enter polling places showing up this morning.
Just before 11 o’clock more than 400 of the 1,599 voters for Nu’uuli/Malaeimi had castr ballots. KHJ News spoke with John Wasko just after he voted

The Methodist Hall at Fagaima had a steady flow of voters when KHJ News visited around 10:30 am.
Voting was a family event for military retiree Mr Lorn Cramer who was accompanied by his wife and 21 year old daughter.

Another young voter was equally excited after she made her decision at the polls.

KHJ News saw some of the gubernatorial camps transporting voters to the Fagaima polling place.
