The deadline for eligible voters to register for the November 3, general elections is 4:30 pm today.
The number of registered voters as of this morning was 16,111.
Election Office staff said that people were still coming in today to register.
Those voting for the first time have to provide a birth certificate or passport, Social Security card and government photo ID.
Voters who had their names purged because they didn’t vote in two consecutive elections or other reasons, have to re- register as if they are first time voters.
They have to provide the same documents mentioned.
4:30 pm is the deadline for voter registration.
