Let there be light.
The American Samoa Power Authority on Sunday began installing new streetlights along the main road, illuminating areas that were in darkness for months and in some cases years.
ASPA took delivery of a shipment of 6,000 LED lights last week and according to Executive Director Wallon Young, by next month all of the old streetlights on Tutuila would be replaced.
