Two security guards working at a quarantine site in Samoa have now been placed in quarantine themselves.
TV1 Samoa reports that the Chairman of the National Emergency Operations Committee, Ulu Bismarck Crawley, confirmed the two are now in quarantine after breaching SOE orders while on duty.
He said the pair will face charges under the SOE orders.
Details of the incident have not been released but it is believed the two were drinking alcohol in the lock down premises.
Ulu confirmed that 1,477 Samoans have been returned since the repatriation flights from New Zealand started.
He said there are only two more flights to come on the 7th and. 28th of August.
Meanwhile he said that more than 2,000 more new COVID-19 tests have arrived in the country.
