Hawaiian Airlines Advisory for Passengers on July 21st Charter

The Medicaid charter flight tomorrow will be carrying 277 passengers according to an announcement by Chief of Staff Fiu Johnny Saelua at Friday’s cabinet meeting.

There are more than 160 Medicaid patient referrals, 55 college bound students and 55 other passengers including military personnel, non-Medicaid patients and stranded travelers.

Hawaiian Air issued an advisory for all those traveling on this flight.

“All Passengers traveling on TUE (21JUL’20) on the Medical Charter operating from Pago Pago to Honolulu, please take notice and observe the following flight information. Hawaiian Air check-in counters will open from 1:00PM-6:00PM where verification of all Passport and/or CI will take place, each passenger will be allowed to check in 2 pieces weighing no more than 50LBS. Every Passenger traveling will need to present themselves at the counter for verification, there is no exception to this rule as it is required by TSA. Each Passenger will also be required to immediately clear Customs & Immigration after check-in, Customs & Immigration will be available from 12N until closing. Security checkpoint will open from 6:00PM-9:00PM, there will be NO exceptions whatsoever to these times. TSA along with Customs & Immigration will no longer accept Passengers after closing, we urge all of our valued Guests to please do all possible to observe these times.”

Flight Information:

* HA915 – Departing HNL @ 4:50PM and arriving PPG @ 9:15PM **Ferry
* HA916 – Departing PPG @ 11:15PM and arriving HNL @ 5:40AM

With HA915 arriving empty with no Passengers, Hawaiian Airlines will immediately board HA916 upon arrival due to high amount of guests requiring wheelchair assistance.
