Effective June 15, all patients, visitors and staff entering LBJ Tropical Medical Center premises will be screened at designated entrances in front of the Pharmacy and in between the Pediatric and Medical Units (near Chapel).
All other entrances will remain closed until further notice.
Children under the age of 14 will not be permitted to enter unless child is a patient or under extreme circumstances.
Additionally, individuals showing signs of fever or flu-like symptoms will not be granted access and may be directed to the ER Screening Tent.
The LBJ management and staff appreciate the public’s cooperation during these difficult times.
