Today, four graduates of the American Samoa Community College were awarded ASG scholarships in a ceremony in the DOE Conference Room.
Scholarship Board Chairman Senator Fai’ivae Godinet and Co-Chair Donna Gurr recognized the scholarship recipients and their parents.

- Francella Pola Nau-Biology, Portland State University:
- Pitolua Samuelu Jr-Accounting, University of Hawaii, Manoa;
- Tiarasina Roberts-Political Science, Southern Oregon University;
- Sailimalo M. Vele-Criminal Justice, University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Director of Education Dr. Ruth Matagi-Tofiga and ASCC President Dr Rosevonne Pato congratulated the students and recognized the support by their parents.
They also encouraged the students to return home after getting their degrees to give back to our community.
