Fifteen students are the first graduates of the computer course offered by the Silicon Valley -based company Stratus Lining Inc.
One of the instructors, Chris Magalei, said the 15 completed the full course work, and some are already looking at jobs with off island companies, that allow them to be based in the territory.
For the semester with ended April 19th, 45 students completed the course.
The instructor said 3 out of seven students have been selected to date by technology companies, but he did not offer any details saying a press release will be issued.
The majority of the students were already working when they enrolled.
The tuition for the year long course is $500 and Magelei said the majority of the students made full payments.
The nest semester for the Stratus Lining Inc. computer course is to start in September.
