Restaurants are limited to 10 person occupancy at any one time under the current Code Blue status for COVID-19.
At Carl’s Jr Restaurant at Laufou chairs had been placed outside for customers to wait their turn.
A staff member said he was counting patrons to let in and when the number exceeded 10 the rest would be asked to take a seat and wait outside.
The restaurant gave menus to those outside to order from to cut down their waiting time. Those in cars had the option of the drive thru service.
The staffer told KHJ News that early morning was particularly difficult in controlling customers, who didn’t seem to know about the 10- person limit.
The restaurant lights are dimmed to indicate that it isn’t business as usual.
