National Weather Service says as Tropical Storm Wasi continues to move away from American Samoa, the winds will diminish and they may lift the tropical storm warning by this afternoon
However, the newest area of concern is rainfall.
We have already had two inches of rainfall in the last 12 hours, and more rains are north of Upolu and bound for American Samoa.
Winds are dropping back, but rain fall and flash flooding are the newest threat.
American Samoa is under a flash flood warning through 1 PM Saturday.
We are still under tropical storm warning as winds can still get up to 40 mph.
