Containers being hauled to stores and forklifts lifting pellets of goods into stores were  a welcome sight this morning,

Shelves which have been empty for a few weeks got restocked.

The vessel Polynesia Shipping was able to dock in port yesterday, after waiting outside the harbor for a day,  and unloading operations continued under stormy conditions.

Chief of Customs Keith Gebauer said early this morning agents were sent to stores with containers that arrived on the Polynesia , so that freezers and shelves could be replenished.

The Polynesia’s cargo included bottels of water,  produce and freezer goods.

A container was being unloaded at Cost U less when KHJ News was present.
