Containers being hauled to stores and forklifts lifting pellets of goods into stores were a welcome sight this morning,
Shelves which have been empty for a few weeks got restocked.
The vessel Polynesia Shipping was able to dock in port yesterday, after waiting outside the harbor for a day, and unloading operations continued under stormy conditions.
Chief of Customs Keith Gebauer said early this morning agents were sent to stores with containers that arrived on the Polynesia , so that freezers and shelves could be replenished.
The Polynesia’s cargo included bottels of water, produce and freezer goods.
A container was being unloaded at Cost U less when KHJ News was present.

Meanwhile the Cap Papatele’s arrival has been pushed back a few days. Customers were notified Friday that the new estimated date of arrival of the Cap Papatele is February 28th.
