The National Weather Service is alerting residents to expect strong wind gusts this evening and continuing to tomorrow morning as Tropical Cyclone Tino moves south eastward towards Tonga.
A high wind warning is in effect till Saturday night…also continuing is a flash flood watch, a gale warning and high surf warning through to Sunday.
As Meteorologist Scott Rozanski reports its going to be a long weekend of wind, rain and rough seas.
