The following is a public service announcement issued Friday, December by the American Samoa Department of Health.
Tafuna and Fagaalu clinics will continue to administer MMR shots to children and teens tomorrow, Saturday, December 7. Same time 8am -12pm. Clinics close Sunday.
MMR shots are now available for babies 6 months old and older.
MMR shots should NOT be given to babies less than 6 months or women who are pregnant.
No MMR shots for Adults at this time. Stay tuned to this page, radio and TV for more updates.
All schools (Private and Public), ECE, and Daycare Centers will be closed next week Monday, December 9, until further notice.
All public gatherings, not including church services, are banned until further notice.
More information will be released once it is available.
