US Navy’s Big Wave performs Saturday

A four-piece band from the US Naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii will perform in the territory this weekend, as guests of the Samoana Jazz and Arts Inc. which organizes the annual Jazz and Music Arts Festival.

The band is the Pacific Navy Admiral’s protocol band and performs at functions and events hosted by the Admiral and Navy throughout Hawaii.

The band is currently in Samoa and will be arriving on Friday for two performances on Saturday.

One is in front of the Jean P Haydon Museum at 10 am and the other is a private function at Sadie’s of the Sea that evening.  The band will also be in the line up for a jam session with local musicians at Sadies, Sunday afternoon.
