The Special Education Program at Manulele Elementary were yesterday presented gifts donated by the Aoelua Family Reading Program.
SPED Instructor Amy Epati and Resource Specialist Suikonesula Falemalama were on hand to receive the donated books and educational toys.
According to Dr. Aoelua-Fanene, the gifts are for visually impaired children.
Manulele Elementary has 5 students enrolled in its program.
Ms. Amy Epati thanked the Aoelua Family Reading program for their generous donation, stating that the Braille books and educational toys are effective teaching aids for the visually impaired students.
