Projects funded with Capital Improvement Project funds will be inspected by officials of the Department of Interior who are arriving in the territory tomorrow night.
The officials are CIP Grant Manager, Ms Aimee Munzi and Grant Manager for the Empower Insular Communities Program, Ms Krystina Alfano.
They will be here for a week and will spend their first day visiting Ta’u, Ofu and Olosega before returning to Tutuila the next day on the MV Manu’atele.
Departments with CIP projects which will be visited by the DOI reps are the Ronald Reagan Marine Railway, American Samoa Community College, the American Samoa Power Authority, LBJ Hospital, American Samoa Telecommunications Authority, Port Administration, Public Works, Treasury and the Governor’s Office.
