A Fishers Forum to promote fishing and get local residents involved in the fishing industry is a side activity of the 180th meeting of the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council.
The Council meeting opens tomorrow morning at the Tauese P. Sunia Ocean Center and the Fishers Forum is set for 6-9’pm at the same venue.
Amy Vandehey explains that winners of a Council sponsored poster competition for local students will be announced at the Fishers Forum.
