
More than 70 students from Mililani High School are on a cultural and football tour of American Samoa.
The malaga arrived Monday night to spend one week in the territory and is staying at the Department of Youth and Women Affairs Center in Pago Pago.
Most of the students are of Samoan and Pacific islander descent and since arriving they’ve been immersed in cultural and also fun activities, They’ve had a boat ride on Manu’atele, cooked their food in a umu, and meeting local students and players.
The Mililani High School tour is arranged under the JPS Program.
Tonight is the first friendship football game between Mililani and Fagaitua High School at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tafuna at 6pm. JPS Commissioner Bone Taase explains.
