A former president and CEO of Amerika Samoa Bank, the precursor to ANZ Amerika Samoa Bank. Harold Preston Fielding Sr., passed away on June 24th in Fresno, California.
He was 83.
Hal as he was known is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ingrid, five sons, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He spent 22 years in the U.S. Army, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam War and retired as a Command Sergeant Major.
He then continued his education at Fresno State receiving a degree in Business Administration.
He established a banking career which brought him to American Samoa where he served as President/CEO of Amerika Samoa Bank, until he retired in 2002.
Hal lived the rest of his days with his wife by his side in Clovis.
