Rough seas prevented the departure of the Samoa government vessel Lady Naomi on its return weekly sailing to Apia, Thursday.
When it docked at the inter island dock it apparently kept floating towards Pago Pago. The boat was then moved to the main dock.
A spokesman for the Samoa Shipping Corporation’s local agents, Polynesia Shipping, said the unloading of the vessel was carried out at the main dock.
Passengers and cargo booked for the return trip were waiting at the inter island dock from early Friday morning.
Polynesia Shipping said the Lady Naomi finally departed at 5pm Friday.
