Forty year old Alesana Lafoga through a plea agreement last week admitted to hitting the head of a friend with a rock. This followed a disagreement that happened at a rugby game in March of last year.

According to the plea agreement, on March 28, the defendant had gone to the victim’s home to discuss a disagreement during a rugby game earlier in the day.

During the conversation, Lafoga became angry at something that the victim, a very close friend, said.

He then punched the victim causing him to fall.

The victim threw his own punches and in response, Lafoga reached for a rock and hit the victim’s jaw with it.

The victim was hospitalized for three days due to his injuries.

The defendant was initially charged with one count of first degree assault but under the court approved plea deal, he plead guilty to the reduced charge of second degree assault.

Lafoga who remains at the TCF is to be sentenced next month.
