Two of seven men who were taken in for questioning following a police raid at Logotala Hill early this week appeared in District Court this morning.
Faletoi Misiluti and Alesana Tipi are charged with possession of a controlled substance and are held on bail of $5,000 each.
The charges stem from a police raid of a structure at Logotala Hill between Vaitogi and Iliili on Tuesday morning which found Cannabidiol or CBD oil, a chemical compound found in marijuana, marijuana plants, joints, a rifle and cash.
It’s not known if the government will charge the other five men who were taken in after the raid.
Misiluti and Tipi will be back in District Court on Monday.
