Warriors JROTC top 2019 accreditation

The Tafuna Warriors JROTC Program has topped the JROTC Program Accredition for 2019.

The Warriors Task Force scored 98.9% in the American Samoa Multi Unit JROTC Program.

The Warriors still has the highest score, 99.1%, which it set in 2016, in the 8th brigade consisting of JROTC units in the states of Washington, California, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska and the territories of Guam and CNMI as well as Japan and Korea.

The JROTC Programs were evaluated based on Secondary Educational Institutions and JROTC instructors and policies.2019

Tafuna High School JROTC Task Force Commander, Cadet Colonel Vaigatolo commented, “We spent 7 months preparing for the inspection in April. Every one of my 232 cadets put their heart and soul into passing the JPA.

He also credited the JROTC instructors, SFC Solaita & MSG Puletasi saying, “We wouldn’t be where we are right now if it wasn’t for their endless scolding and encouragement for us to keep going. I am forever grateful to them.”
