The Department of Public Works joins the national celebration of Public Works Week next week.
With the theme “It starts here,” DPW Director Faleosina Voigt is putting the focus on employees and the services that the deprtment provides. It’salso an opportunity to promote carreers in DPW
An opening church service will be held Sunday at the Matuu Faganeanea CCCAS church.
Monday is a wave along the airport road and clean up at Lions Park, ending with sports and a BBQ.
Tuesday is an open house and career day where students will learn about careers in Public Works and members of the public can ask questions.
Kathy Faoa Danielson and Tanya Ma’o Aab says this is an opportunity for the public to bring up any issues they may have with the various divisions of DPW.

A department banquet is slated for Thursday and Friday is rest and relaxation.
