Five contestants are vying in this year’s Miss SOFIAS *Sosaiete o Faafafine i Amerika Samoa) pageant this Friday at the Fatuoaioga Hall.
The contestants, along with outgoing Miss SOFIAS Valentana Faumuina and Pageant Director Trina Tui made the media rounds today for Media Day, introducing the contestants and promoting the pageant.
The five contestants are Vanessa Taamu Simanu, Dezi Bartley, Mechi De la Cruz, Cece Iavai, and Aruni Talaifaga.
The SOFIAS pageant has earned a reputation for being a well organized event with dazzling outfits, original, out of the ordinary talents, plenty of laughs and great entertainment.
Pageant Director Trina says proceeds from the pageant will go towards their selected charity,Hope House.
Individual tickets are $25 each and corporate tables are $1,000.
