The government has charged private attorney Richard deSaulles for allegedly using trust funds belonging to a client.
deSaulles who heads the lawfirm of RDA Law Firm faces stealing and embezzlement charges for allegedly using over $100,000 belonging to Hope Dialysis Center for his benefit.
He’s accused of using the funds to pay bills, trips and other personal expenses. He was arrested Thursday with bail set at $20,000.
The criminal case against the attorney was filed following several months of investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Department of Public Safety, based on a complaint from Hope Dialysis Center.
deSaulles who remains at the TCF is scheduled to make an initial appearance in District Court today.
