The culprit or culprits who broke into several classrooms at Leone High School over the New Year holiday caused damage to valuable equipment.

According to Science teacher Tautasi Falanai Jr.,  there doesn’t appear to be anything missing but there was damage done to electronic equipment.

He says in his classroom, water was poured into a desktop computer and a speaker was also damaged.

Six classrooms were broken into and the persons responsible dumped books, instructional material and supplies which had been placed in cupboards and storage containers lying all over the floors.

Falanai said crews have been at the school fixing  classroom doors to secure them before school starts on Monday.

The school administration, with the Department of Education, is looking at providing security for the school at night, according to teacher Falanai Jr.

So far, police have not apprehended any suspects.
