Stockbridge students impart knowledge and gain alot more

Just like they imparted new knowledge and a quest for learning upon local students the Invemt Team from Stockbridge High School in Michigan that spent a week in the territory said they too learned so much from being here.

The visitors from Michigan who returned home last nighr gave a presentation of their work underwater at the Tauese P Sunia Ocean Center yesterday.

Among the guests were Lt Governor Lemanu Peleti Mauga, Chamber of Commerce Chairman John Wasko and students of Samoana High School.

Acting Superintendent of the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa Atuatasi Lelei Peau and sanctuary staff expressed their appreciation to the visiting students and all those who helped make their work here a success.

The InventTeam recorded marine life around the sanctuary site at Aunuu,  held robotics workships and did outreach visits to several elementary and high schools both private and public.

Science teacher Bob Richards summed up the trip this way.
