ASTCA Board determined to proceed with CEO interviews

The Board of Directors of the American Samoa Telecommunications Authority is going ahead with interviews of the applicants for the ASTCA CEO position.

Applications for the position closed at 4 today.

KHJ News understands that Lewis Wolman tipped to be Governor Lolo Moliga’s choice for the CEO position submitted his application last night.

ASTCA Board Chairman Faiivae Alex Godient was attending a family funeral and could not be reached.

However a member of the board who was willing to talk under condition that they not be named, said regardless of the governor’s actions, the board is proceeding with interviews and will select a new CEO according to proper procedures.

The board member was emphatic that they will not sign a contract.

The ASTCA Board’s Human Resources Subcommittee that is screening the applications are Mrs Lagi Asuega, Alofagia Nomura and Andra Samoa.
