Funeral services for the late Senator Galeai Moaaliitele Tuufuli are scheduled for next week.
According to his son Tiātaulogo Maverick Taeaonaisaua Tu’ufuli Paramount Chief Galea’I’s body will be brought home on next Monday’s Hawaiian Air flight and a prayer service is set for that evening at the LBJ Hospital Chapel upon arrival.
The next morning, Tuesday, November 20, his body will lie in state at the Lee Auditorium for a state service.
From there the hearse will proceed to Governor Lolo Moliga’s guest house in Iliili for wake services and traditional ceremonies.
The final church service for Senator Galea’i is planned for the morning of Wednesday, November 21 at the CCJS Fagatogo. This will be followed by his burial in Fogagogo.
Galeai died October 24 in California. He was 81.
